Was frustrated a bit today when I wanted to copy text between the laptop and the VDI, and it simply wouldn’t work. As I had been playing with the Remote Desktop configuration to only have it show on 2 of the 3 screens, I thought it might have been that – but apparently I was a bit mistaken.
Going to this site I found that there was a simple fix. Just open up the Task Manager in the RDP session, find the RDP Clipboard Monitor process and kill it. Then restart it by running “rdpclip.exe” from the new task menu.
Simple? Yes. Easy to find? Reasonably. Annoying before that? Definitely so.
